14. MAY 2020: UPDATE ON COVID-19

The 10th of May the Danish government announced further reopening of the society.

In this round indoor sports are not included, but it was made clear that the details of a further lifting of the restrictions will be announced in the coming weeks. We are still hoping that restrictions will be loosened enough in time to proceed with the camps. We will return with more information as soon as we know more.

Best wishes,

INSTRUCTORS

CAMP INSTRUCTORS WILL BE REVEALED BELOW IN THE COMING MONTH...STAY TUNED!

Kasper Rohde Larsen
NoGi
Kasper Rohde Larsen is one of Denmarks most accomplished NoGi grapplers, competitors, and instructors. Starting at a very young age, and with enough medals to armour a vehicle, a colossal knowledge of leglocks and a bag of nasty submissions, he is sure to give you something to bring home and practice on. Kasper teaches at Siam Jiu Jitsu in Copenhagen.

Luiz Paulo Lyra
Gi
Luiz is a BJJ blackbelt under Bruno Matias and Robson Barbosa, and is well known (and feared) for his wrist locks. He has trained BJJ since 2004 and competed for Gracie Humaita. Luiz has won several IBJJF-tournaments and FJJRIO in Brazil. Favourite submissions: armbar and wristlock. Luiz is BJJ instructor at Great Danes Fight Club in Odense.

Christian Ifversen
Gi
With 20 years in Danish BJJ, Christian has been part of the community since the early days. Originally dedicated to NoGi, Christian has spent the past 7 years focusing on adding a strong Gi game. Join his classes and dive deep into pressure passing, and learn how to be a heavy, strategic, and focused guard passer. Christian teaches Gi classes at Siam Jiu Jitsu, Copenhagen.

Milan Silva
Gi and NoGi
Milan spent most of his youth in judo, diligently training and competing, eventually earning his black belt. Later he switched to BJJ, and finally decided to take up the challenge of MMA. He has a thriving amateur MMA career. Milan has a solid understanding of how to apply his throws and takedowns in BJJ, so don't miss the opportunity to sharpen your standing skills. Milan trains and competes for Arte Suave, Copenhagen

Axel Apergis
NoGi and Gi
Axel started jiu jitsu as a young teenager - his talent was apparent from the beginning. He has not strayed from the path since, and on top of all the NAGA metal he has harvested throughout the past years, he also earned his black belt. Axel lives and breathes jiu jitsu and has a very fluid and technical approach as a coach. Don't underestimate the details he will add to your guillotine game! Axel trains and competes for Siam Jiu Jitsu.

Morten Maarup Pedersen
Gi and NoGi
They say iu jitsu will make a small man conquer a big man, and if anyone can attest to this, it is definitely Morten! His 17 years in jiu jitsu, his ability to get the best out of most difficult situations, his analytical mind, and his technical approach has served him well. Morten carries a black belt, and will surely help you improve your defence in technical and intelligent ways. Morten is the head coach at BJJ3000, Helsingør.
